There are two areas of Epcot - Future World and World Showcase. Future World consists of attractions and restaurants themed around anything from science to space, and the World Showcase is an area of 11 countries, nestled around a circular lagoon, that is just over a mile. World Showcase is home to some of the absolute best foods on property, and of course, cocktails. Lots of them! You've probably heard of the term "drinking around the world" when someone is talking about their trip to WDW.
Many people take "drinking around the world" very seriously. They get shirts made, have an entire itinerary, keep track of where they got their drinks and what they got, etc. If you think I'm kidding, I'm totally telling the 100% truth! Although many people attempt to have a drink in every country, let's remember there are 11 of them. That's a lot of alcohol, especially in the hot Florida sun! The World Showcase doesn't have much shade at all, making it one of the hottest areas to walk around on property. Whether you attempt to complete the "drinking around the world" challenge or not, here are my favorite cocktails from some of the countries in Epcot!
The Avocado Margarita from La Cava Del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion is outstanding! I know what you're thinking "Sounds weird, I like avocados, and I like margaritas, but I'm not too sure if I like them together" - because I thought the same thing. However, this margarita is truly unlike any other. It's nice and creamy from the avocados, making it comparable to a smoothie when it comes to texture. And as far as taste - it's extremely light and fruity! You definitely don't need to be an avocado or tequila super fan to enjoy this. It consists of avocados, of course, agave nectar, lime juice, melon liquor, orange liquor, and tequila blanco, with a sweet hibiscus salt rim. It's the perfect drink to cool off in the Tequila Cave on a hot Epcot day!

In China, there is a beverage stand that has a drink called Tipsy Ducks In Love. If you love iced coffee, (mocha, in particular) you will go crazy for this drink! It contains an iced tea and coffee combination, blended with bourbon and chocolate syrup. The Cast Members at the China Pavilion have a heavy hand when it comes to this drink! It's very strong, but not too strong to mask the taste of chocolate and coffee. You can also top it with whipped cream! This drink is so decadent, it practically tastes like a dessert, and is definitely worth the stop on your tour of cocktails.

Completely different from the Tipsy Ducks In Love, China has another specialty cocktail that is always on my to-drink list when I visit Epcot! The Kung Fu Punch is a fruity beverage containing vodka and triple sec, and will definitely kick you when you least expect it! Although it's strong, it's extremely tasty.

The Italian Margarita is one of my go-to cocktails when hitting up Epcot for some drinks! Yes, you guessed it- I love me a margarita! (I'm also Italian, so this is right up my alley!) The drink is made with Limoncello, Grappa, and margarita mix. Frozen and light, the Italian Margarita is perfect for a midday refresher or pre-dinner cocktail!

Also from Italy, the Peach Bellini is another fan favorite. This is great if you're not looking for something super strong, and it's also deliciously sweet! It consists of peach puree and prosecco, and comes is a classy flute!

If you're a sweet bourbon lover, you're sure to enjoy the Frozen Red Stag Lemonade in America! You can get this cocktail at the Fife & Drum tavern, and it's made with frozen lemonade and Red Stag black cherry bourbon. With the perfect mixture of fruity and bourbon flavors, it'll definitely send you on your way to getting star spangled hammered!

The Grey Goose Lemonade Slush from France is one of the most popular drinks in the World Showcase. It has a very light lemonade taste, not too sweet or sour, and it will cool you off on a scorching day, while giving you the perfect afternoon buzz!

At the Rose & Crown Pub in the U.K. Pavilion, you'll find a wide variety of ale flights and specialty cocktails, but the one that I recommend the most is the Welsh Dragon. The ingredients in this may seem a little mush-mashed, but trust me - you need to try it! The drink contains peach schnapps, melon liqueur, Creme de Menthe, OJ, and pineapple juice, with the option of being served in a souvenir cup!

Right in between the U.K. and Canada pavilions, there is a Joffrey's coffee kiosk, and has one of the best little-known spiked coffees in the park. The Shakin' Jamaican is the classic Joffrey's frozen cappuccino (they're all over property and they're the BEST - don't tell Starbucks), Kahlua OR Bailey's Irish Creme, topped with whipped cream. If you love your coffee extra strong, this drink is the one for you!

There are endless, and I mean endless amounts of cocktail options to choose from when "drinking around the world," and I can promise you that you'll never run out of drinks to choose from! If anything, it's too difficult to decide! There are even more unique libations to choose from during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, which runs from late August to November, so have no fear - we'll be reviewing our festival faves as it gets closer to the event!
